precisly, I know we're all meant to read the rules and FAQs etc, but not many people do and therefore get confused :/

And Kurtni, you have missed the point completly I think
i think you ought to read over this again. At no point did i say it was ok. I was having a discussion with Love about the matter and how people don't read the rules, so before you do try to kick of on me please read what I wrote again. thank you.
:]

"'Cause we're anarchy" ?

And at no point she said that you said it was ok Mr. Green
I think she was just explaining the reasons why people should read the rules..

ah
once again, I didnt say it was ever ok not to read the rules, and a lot more people are reading the rules now that they are linked to the blahs, which was a great idea (Y)
I know alot of my friends have.
I was merely saying, as stupid as it is, some people don't and I don't think they relise the huge implication of this. That doesn't make it ok no, its like discussing world poverty or crime, you just talk about it, and state what happens, of course you don't approve of this.
tbh Im not quite sure what the big fuss is here.
Its quite clear I don't think they have an excuse.

______

hang on wait nvm, I understand what you were saying, I got the wrong end of the stick I apologise Cecilia, and yeahthank you for trying to explain that to me, Im still leaving my previous post up as I still don't understand why such a big fuss is created about something that hasn't anything to do with the original sugesstions. o.o

Whats with this confusion? Cheese

Read the damn rules and follow them. If you break the rules Dujo can ban you. If you behave and miss GSB and wont to come back on the site, send an e-mail, apologize and Dujo will put you back on the site as long as you don't do anymore crap.

Rules are here to be followed, not ignored or misunderstood. Besides, you can ask the Mods if you don't understand a rule. Every site has rules so I don't understand how some people can not see them on GSB (or not understand them, they are pretty clear). Look, people just don't follow these rules so they get banned. Purposely or not, no one has to give you warnings. If you break a window at school no one is going to say oh, nice, but we will expel you if you break another. Besides, Dujo can ban anyone he freaking wants, and so far he has been very fair, not giving 10 bans a day and only banning people who have deserve it.

I think having common sense to read and follow the rules should be enough. Because if you read and follow the rules, you wouldn't have to get a warning or get banned.

I think that's the least we could do for having a site made for us.

I never said that you claimed it was ok. I simply provided the reasoning as to why that wasn't an excuse for breaking the rules. You were simply stating why people get confused; they don't read the rules. I was clarifying the fact that it isn't an excuse. Not so much replying to you as I was to anyone reading the thread. I know what you were saying. I kan reed! tehe

Vukodlak.:
Whats with this confusion? Cheese

There is none o.o
Im not quite sure where you have derived this idea from, if I was confused over something I would have posted a thread in the FAQs section. Tbh if you're replying to this thread, then you ought to be focusing on the first page, because the second and third pages are discussion to linked aspects, however I can not stress enough how this was a SUGGESTION, not a complaint, infact I even reinforced that in my intial post, and I'm sorry I am getting tired of having to repeat myself.

Vukodlak.:
If you break a window at school no one is going to say oh, nice, but we will expel you if you break another.

Actually, at our school that is exactly how it works. We have this warning system in place, and the strike rule. For example mess up three times in one term, and you get an after school detention and a black spot on your record. Same with school property, if you broke a window, well accidents can happen, and you are let of the first time, but with restrictions, like you are not allowed out at break times or lunch times, do it a second time then the consequences are more severe, ie a fine and suspention from school.

Vukodlak.:

Again, where did I say he doesn't have the right? Dujo created this site and I respect him for that, Im not quite sure exactly what the fuss being created here is, I think its quite straightforward really, I had sugesstions, Dujo asked me if I honestly thought they would work, we discussed it, and he gave me his reasons and along the way also clarified something for me, but now its sorted, end of discussion and end of topic. :]

I agree that that is no excuse, and hopefully with the link to the rules on the blahblahs there will be a raised awarness.
And ok fair enough I respect your views, I'm just giving an example, because Im not being funny or harsh or something, but there are some people who do lack common sense, not retards as such, but they just dont think. and no that is not anyone's fault, most certianly not Dujo's, or the admin or the mods.
Again this has completly gone of on the wrong tangent from the original purpose of this post, feel free to discuss this between yourselves til the cows come home, I shall reply to this thread if I see there is something urgent needing replying, otherwise I feel case closed, thank you for your input and good day. :]

If you asked your parents, it's fine.

Sorry, but Megan isn't unbanned yet. She sent the email and she's done nothing untoward. Why isn't she unbanned?

Don't you think there are some things you should be banned for even if you didn't get a warning?

tbh, no.

So someone could come here, create a thread that says "F*UCK YOU" or something like that and post porn.. and what would we say?

"Hey, you can do that only one more time... you'll be banned after that"?
In all fairness and honesty, GSB used to be juuuust like that. Very Happy
