He wishes he could look her in the eyes
Johnny doesn't remember his mother face
Johnny doesn't remember running no race
Johnny remembers the office bench
Johnny was different, but so much the same.
She sees him and what the woman has done
She feels for what he has become
Suffocating in his own despair
he's fallen and he'll never get up.
Johnny died yesterday
He left a note no-one could read
Smeared with blood and salty tears
Johnny died for nothing.
She screams for help to no avail
One person can't carry the weight of the world
One last breath and she resigns
She falls into oblivion, the day the world dies. |
