| TragicCaseofMyReality King For A Couple Of Days  Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 2350 | I LOVE this freaking movie!!!!  My favorite parts are the Truffle Shuffle (as you can see on my avatar thing), when Mouth "translates" to Rosalita, when Chunk is "confessing", when Sloth yells "Hey you guys" and many many more. If you've seen it what are yours? (and if you haven't I REALLY reccomend it...it is such a great movie  ) The Goonies are a group of friends living in Astoria, the groups leader Mikey Walsh, his older brother Brand, friends Data,Mouth, and Chunk, and Brand's crush Andy along with Stef, are being evicted from their homes which are to be demolished. Setting out to find a way of saving their homes, The Goonies find a treasure map and they set off in search for the treasure of the legendary pirate One-Eyed Willy which is located beneath a abandoned restaurant. Joined by a deformed gentle giant named Sloth, The Goonies embark on a great adventure through a underground maze filled with traps and skeletons, where they are pursued by Sloth's mother, thief Momma Fratelli and his brothers Jake and Francis who are also after One-Eyed Willy's treasure and they are willing to kill to get the treasure first....dun dun dun  (I didn't write that description but its correct and they described better than I would have  ) |

I also love the wishing well scene when Mouth said "Oh yeah well this one, this one right here. This was my wish, my dream and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back"...or something to that effect and when Data goes through the screen door. I have alot of favorite parts... I've heard there was talk about doing a sequal but I'm not sure if anything ever came of it. If they do make one I hope they make it really good or I'm going to be pissed. Because usually sequals never even come close. Oh and they are making a 2nd Lost Boys too. |
