Posts: 17023 | October 27th, 2007 at 03:26am Free Rice is a website which tests your vocabulary. It gives you a word and four possible meanings and for every word you get right, they donate ten grains of rice to the UN World Food Program.
I think it's a really good idea, because it takes such little effort, but you're also getting something out of it as well, and I thought that all the aspiring writers here might find it interesting.
Personally, I try to donate 1000 grains of rice a day. It doesn't take much time, so if I've got a spare few minutes I can use it up doing this.
So yeah, hope you do use it, as it's all for a good cause and doesn't cost you a penny! |
