 | November 1st, 2007 at 07:43pm Okay. I don't know if this counts but I submitted it for my English CourseWork and my teacher said she can see that marking as an A-A* as an opening standalone.
I stared at the person looking back at me. I instantly despised her. I saw her daily; her past haunted my every dream. She was everything that I hated. She had a lot of secrets, and demons too. Her evil grin reminded me of why I was here. She glared at me as if she didn't like me. Apart from the bloodied razor she held in her shaking hand, she stood dead still. Her arms were deeply slashed as fresh blood ran over old scars. Mascara stained her cheeks and every tear fell straight down, hitting the ground almost instantly. I watched a little longer before turning away from the mirror.
