rotating to and fro
to and fro
Like I'm bouncing off invisible walls
But I'm looking
for the paint
I'm looking for my canvas
So I can take my brush to and fro
to and fro
And the lines will connect
things won't be hazardous
cracks filled in
the ones around my eyes
creasing as they move to and fro
to and fro
The paint smells
a chalky high
The colors seem to paint my mind
an inhalation as blue as the sky
and so my body moves to and fro
to and fro |
