  | January 1st, 2008 at 04:28pm wikipedia:Busted were an English band consisting of James Bourne (rhythm guitar; born 13 September 1983), Charlie Simpson (lead guitar and occasionally drums; born 7 June 1985), and Matt Willis (then called Matt Jay; bass guitar; born 8 May 1983) which formed in 2001 and disbanded on 14 January 2005. In some countries (including The Netherlands) the band was known as Bust. Busted may also be recognised as the originating force behind the breakout act McFly. They earned a place in the Guinness World Record by selling out London's Wembley Arena eleven times in one year, six of those being on consecutive nights. The band also won two Brit awards in 2004. It has been said that Busted contributed to changing the face of pop music at the turn of the millennium. This was for influencing kids back into guitar based bands and away from the traditional singing and dancing 'boybands' that had become very popular in the late 90's. They achieved great success in the UK and abroad, selling over three million albums.

If this is true thats amazing.
Not long ago I found my love for Busted again. I don't like fightstar very much. I love Matt Willis though. But still, nothing beats Busted. If they do reunite I will be so happy . |
