It took me five minutes to realise the bus was moving
I watch the condensation and see your face in every drop
As the light shines up like a kaleidoscope dream
I want to fall through air and you to catch me

Phone calls blossom and last night's memories
Words and laughter of private humour resonate
I'm drawing love hearts on my trainers
It's the sort of week where I'm counting down the days

Music reminds me of how you find me
I will wait at the the station for however long is needed
Whenever I get paint on my cheeks I just want you to kiss me

Fingertips are the greatest paintbrushes
I'd like to paint your whole body
I will giggle, you will laugh

Pebbles on the beach hit the water as my phone rings
The weekend plays again in front of me
I want to draw us in felt tip and pencils
I want to spray graffiti on the sky

It's in dreams like these that I need your reality
Recordings make me smile with every play
I want nothing more than you to lift me up
And spin me and smile in that way that you do
