Thing’s going on inside the thing’s we’ll never know
They go on and make promises which they never keep
I think I’ve always wondered “ how do they sleep?”
Again a promise broken, another endless cause
Another mass of people used to win the war
Again another batch of bullshit dished into this society
But I guess it don’t mean shit to folk except like you and me!
The government ain’t happy with kids who’re on the dole
Statements telling parents to become the model role
Always telling parents on how to raise their kids
I think the politicians are bitter for the things they never did
Again a promise broken, another endless cause
Another mass of people used to win the war

But I guess it don’t mean shit to folk except like you and me!
The government speak of freedom in their own wasteland
But they say that the people they just don’t understand
They say it’s for out own good and it’ll help us all
But who is gonna catch us when the economy falls?

The subject/content, I do not agree with. But that is entirely different. |
