i dont think anyone can tell when the earth is going to end and i dont really think people are quickining (weird made up word) the process. the world is changing all the time and we arent making it better or worse

I want to be one of those people who can be like "Pfff, 2012's a load of shit, never gonna happen." But it kind of scares me, I can't help it.
I don't fully believe anything's going to happen, but the possibility nags at me...

There are many supposed reasons that people have, that lead them to believe that the world will end in 2012. One of these reasons is that it is the end of the Mayan Calendar. Maybe the Mayans just got bored with all of this calendar-making stuff, and decided they would just finish it there. It doesn't mean its the end of the world, wouldn't you get bored too, if you were making a calendar that was centuries, millenniums even? i know i would.
