This has got to be one of the most unique bands I've ever come across. I can't come up with a genre for them because there's so much to them. But Krysta's vocals seem to set off the changes in sound for each song. One moment she's screaming her heart out as the band seems to pound away at double bass pedals and guitar strings, then the next she's singing angelically with calm strokes of the guitar, funky bass lines, and trance-like ambiance in the background. And then... western? Crazy. That's my conclusion.

I've been listening to them for about a year. They're becoming a bit more popular since their new CD, It's All Happening, came out June 2nd. I was surprised to hear their song "You Ain't No Family" playing in Hot Topic one day. They also have a self-titled EP from 2007 which is also amazing, and, some may say, better than their full-length. In my opinion, it all gives me goosebumps.

My favorites are "Danger In The Manger", "Corey Feldman Holocaust", and "Alaskan Flounder Basket".

check them out:

They opened for the Human Abstract show I went to a while ago.
I'm not a fan of the band, but I must say they are quite unique and the performance was really entertaining.
