I was actually at the Wembley gig before this show happened and I only didn't go because I'm not 18 and couldn't find ID to get in Sad I'm so hating my age right now, I was born three months too late.

Okay, this is the fangirl spaz I had when I got in at 4am, having driven 166 miles from Crewe and being stuck in traffic jams on the M6 for four and a half hours.

Basically it's a big old spaz.

OH MY FUCKING GOD.

I'll give a full report in the morning/afternoon. I'm back in Essex, Crewe can suck my dick. 9am seminar can suck my dick.

I AM COVERED IN BILLIE JOE'S BACKWASH. SOME OF IT WENT STRAIGHT FROM HIS MOUTH INTO MINE. WE'RE PRACTICALLY LOVERS.

They were so fucking drunks, I didn't hang around to see if they'd come out. I was knackered and apparently they're going to Germany tomorrow so I doubt they'll be coming out and hugging and stuff. Straight back to the hotel methinks.

Met three lovely guys who I hung out with all night. Alex put his hat on Billie's head (it was a sailor hat, he didn't even know why he was wearing it) and Billie wore it for about two songs then chucked it on the floor of the stage. He got up on stage and started dancing with Billie AND got his hat back.

In fact all three guys got up on stage with Billie.

The place was ridiculously tiny. I walked in and was like OMFG ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

They played Stop Drop and Roll 6 times. They opened with it. Then when they came back on after the encore, they played it four times in a row, then they did some covers then they played it again, then they did another cover, repeated the last little section of that 742526262 times and then they went off.

They played Blood Sex and Booze too, which was fucking amazing, and they played a Network song but I couldn't for the life of me tell you what it was.

They went through several thousand cans of beer, Mike shook one up from the side of the stage while the roadies played a two song support set and chucked it over us, then Tre ran out on stage and drenched us all.

Lots of beer shaking, Mike's beer went straight from bottle into my mouth, as did Jason's (I can't tell you how happy I was about that).

I dunno what the fuck they were wearing, Billie looked like he'd raped Del Boy's wardrobe, Jason looked like he was trying to be Eddi from Ab Fab and Mike looked cool as fuck. Barely saw Tre, apart from where he ran out the front, cos there's no sloping floor and no platform for his kit. Billie jumped into the crowd several times and I THINK I touched him but I'm not sure.

I'm covered in beer, backwash, and other people's sweat and this has officially been the most amazing night of my life.

A few sneaky, blurry (no flash or I'll get caught) will be put up in the morning/afternoon. I swear I said the full report would come then too but whatever.

OH MY MOTHER FUCKING DAYS.

Did I say I drank from the same beer can as Billie? Cos if I didn't, then I'm telling you now.

I could not possibly be more jealous of you right now Sad

But I'm really glad you had an amazing time!

Perhaps we'll see more FBHT at the Manchester/London stadium gigs?

Perhaps we should petition?

Haha Mr. Green

I went to Manchester on the 30th and FBHT appeared on the 31st... ARGH.

Everyone WILL get their chance, whether it's today, tomorrow, next year or in ten years, there will be a chance to experience something like this eventually. Don't worry.

Hopefully they'll be doing something in Manchester - I'm going to the stadium gig, and that'll be dead convenient.

Cool

I certainly hope so, haha. I love your optimism Mr. Green

I got home last Saturday and got online to start looking for pictures and videos and things from Friday night and I was gutted when I read about FBHT in Manchester! It sounds like they were amazing in London too.

Fingers cross for FBHT (and perhaps The Network???) in Manchester Dance

I'm already way to excited about the stadium dates...

Well it IS optimism, yes, but I've had loads of experience where patience is most definitely a virtue. I went to see 3OH!3 a couple of months ago (in Islington, maybe it's just a fab part of London) and they came out after the show, there were loads of people, they all went a little crazy and then the guys went back inside after a couple of minutes. Everyone then went home. Ten minutes later they came out again when there was about ten of us left and we got to have conversations, get our pictures taken with them, and just generally have an enjoyable time meeting them.

xZildjianRockerx met Billie Joe after the Sheffield gig last week because Mike and Tre came out, and then they went, and then some security guy said Billie had already gone. Some mega crazy BJ fan said to her 'wait five minutes' and sure enough, five minutes later he came out, hugged her and signed her ticket.

To quote the Guinness ads, good things come to those who wait, so FBHT will come to those of you who are patient. (And a little bit spontaneous).

You've convinced me Mr. Green

We were going to go to Manchester again on the 31st, but, unfortunately haha, I've got M.E and I'm still waiting for a treatment plan so I was waaaaaaaaaay to exhausted to do it twice in a row. Which is rubbish.

BUT, after much sulking around for a few days after we saw GD about how I couldn't enjoy it fully and couldn't run away to London for FBHT, I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and try everything I can to get better for next time they play... obviously it's a bit sooner than I thought it'd be (June!) but in a horribly cheesy way it kinda feels like a little bit of a sign that everything's going to be just fine Cool

Ah yeah, don't wear yourself out, you'll only end up feeling worse and you won't enjoy it. Hope you get sorted with treatment soon. Up

I was so pleased when I saw those new dates, it totally convinced me that driving down from Crewe was absolutely the right thing to do. Cos I'm going, and I'm gonna have a good time, and it's gonna be great, but if I'd left it and not gone, the next time I would have seen them it would have been 60,000 people. I'm not into stadium shows, but I think the FBHT gig sorted me out and I can handle because I've had the small experience if that makes sense? And it gives me something to look forward to so I don't get post-gig-depression.

Thanks - treatment plan next week, hopefully!

Manchester was the only time I've seen them apart from a stadium show - Milton Keynes. And being that close to them (for however long, haha) was almost enough to keep me content until I'm better to the point that I can hang around for hours after a show Cool

So, next time - and there better be a next time - FBHT spring something like this on us, I'll be JUST FINE.

(Hopefully.)

The Garage sounds amazing though - super fun. I LOVE your pictures Mr. Green
