I just don't find it very fun to get all dolled up and go out and buy a fancy dress that you're only going to wear once. Plus, when I was a sophomore, my best friend went as my date at our winter dance and literally five minutes after we got there, she ditched me and I was alone for the whole night while she partied her ass off... not really my ideal plan for the night. So, I'm going to watch movies and eat good food all tonight. Frozen yogurt in a waffle cone while watching movies with my daddy, yup. Sounds like an excellent prom night to me.

Barney Stinson Basket Case Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 17567	May 30th, 2011 at 06:00pm I skipped out on both of my proms. Just didn't feel the urge to go. It's so overdone in my opinion.... the dresses, the meal, the dancing, the music. The drama. I guess for some people it's great, but for those like me, it's just not what we'd want to spend our Friday nights doing. I can have a better time being spontaneous in college.
