I was in that place Spoons for breakfast once and saw guys ordering beers and I've seen people drunk 9 o'clock monday morning - but the worst part is I don't find that strange anymore

You will have to tell people you like Scotland so much better than England when you're there - and do not rush in to defend them when Scottish people slag them off Also if you think someone is being insulting towards you or america in general try and not take it to heart cause that's how the Scots show affection. That's why you'll find we make fun of scotland the most cause its what we love the most

One of my best friends is English and we make jokes about her being an emigrant - all in good humour of course but some people don't know how to keep it as a joke. During the last world cup people were beaten up for wearing England tops so do not have the flag on display

For the most part its now a friendly rivary - we make jokes and leave it at that but deep down I think all Scots still don't sit right over what the English did. Its not just the stuff from long ago - the problem with the UK is all this sort of thing is so subtle but its there
