Oh that just brightened the whole situation right there!

My dog had surgery this morning at 9:30 and they said they'd call when she was "out". So, we thought they'd call at 11, when it was supposed to end, but they ran into a problem with a screw and had to put a bigger one in, which took like another 15 minutes to a halfhour... but they didn't call us until 1... so we were all scared to death thinking and assuming the worst... but she's out of the ansthesia now and is resting comfortably..

We're now waiting for the word of whether or not she'll be able to tolerate a visitor or two or three... I'm sad without her...

glad that she seems fine now and that I could lighten the whole mood. That's kinda what I do, I feel as if its my purpose in life

And I'm still waiting for the CIA to call

I'm just anxious because i want to see her... It's been anxiety palooza all day here... I just want her home!!!

essentially yes, small, little, but we scottish just like to describe everything as wee

I had an assignment to hand in but afterwards me and my friend applied for a whole bunch of tv shows haha then went to pizza hut and a wee wonder through the shops

Well, I know the expression wee, but it could be used as small or little, either of which are the same... dumb question on my part..

My day was stressful, less stressful and now stressful again. Everytime the phone rings, I jump and my boyfriend is sleeping through all of this... it's not funny... he was awake all night and then fell asleep around 4 in the morning and hasn't woken up since...

Anyways, I found out that I missed..... 4 Episodes of CSI: Vegas so I'm pissy at that, but thank god for itunes!

But that's from a forensic standpoint..... not a fan's..

but it prevents me from becoming a fan because there are just too many fallacies in the show that I pick up on

That's what happens with a lot of people, but people just forget that it's a TV Show Do you think absolutely everything is going to be 100% accurate? No, it's not. That show has been on for so long that the field itself has changed so it' hard to keep up with plus it's kind of hard for them to be all, waiting around for 4-6 weeks for toxicology reports and what not, it'd be so pointless to watch if it were like that... And, the majority of the audience that watches it, myself included, watches it for the thrill of the mystery and adventure. We're not interested so much into the science, but the pure fact of the storylines and what's happening to the victims and the suspects and the cases... If those people who are more interested in the science aspect, they should watch shows like The First 48.

Sorry to go on a full loaded rant, but it's my opinion.

I love the First 48!

That's why my solution is not to watch it but there are a lot of people that do forget its a TV show and its them that get on my nerves because they expect the real world to be like CSI. Do you know how sick forensic scientists are of having to explain to jurors that DNA is not this magic substance that can solve all crimes?

I understand that, but it's not the fans' fault for that misunderstanding. Besides, they tell you in any biology, chemistry, physics etc class that "Science is not how you see it on CSI. That's pure Hollywood."

It is the fans fault for the misunderstanding cause liking the show has nothing to do with realising tv and reality are not the same thing. You can appreciate it so clearly it can be done so there is no excuse

sorry, all my french has gone completely. Haven't used it since I was 16. It's amazing though because I spent more years learning french than I have not using it at all yet it took me about 10 years to get really good and only half that to forgot it altogether!!!

And I like projects over breaks, stops you from getting bored
