I was always good at time zones for some reason. People are always asking me what the difference is haha. Starting at GMT you add 1 hour as you go east for every time zone you pass and minus 1 hour as you go west |

The language barrier is a lot more difficult than I anticipated, I thought that most people would have basic English. I'm getting by though, I've found the best strategy is to just point haha! |

| June 9th, 2010 at 05:09pm Its really difficult. I have no Czech what so ever, well besides prosim = please and pivo = beer so at least I can order at the bar lol
At least with other European languages like French, Italian and Spanish, I speak just enough that I can usually work out what things are. Quite often with those languages you can see the English word within the foreign one but not with Czech - completely indecipherable |
