This should have been a Red Card for De Jong, what a disgrace.  Also, Van Bommel should have been sent off, too, he was a brute. The Ref, Howard Webb was very eager to blow the whistle and give yellow cards, but in the case of the dutch, they deserved every single one of them. 8 of their players were booked, as opposed to the Spanish who had 5 players booked, but to be fair, Iniesta only got one for taking off his shirt and Capdevila and Puyol didn't deserve theirs at all. |
