I kinda wanted them to play because it's right next door for me, but I didn't want buying/affording tickets to be a huge deal, haha. Sheffield is amazing for gigs. I really like Newcastle Carling Academy too - the venue is small and really awesome. I went to see someone there (Babyshambles?) and there was literally sweat dripping from the ceiling. The aftermath of that gig was awful though, I was right at the front against the barrier and I walked out of the with bruised ribs, bruises all over and a fucking HUGE lump on my knee....it was a good gig XD |
