| Ensiferum Jackass  Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 1694  | From Perth in Scotland, and as the genre says, a metal band with a pirate/folk theme. You may have heard of Battleheart, who released 2 EPs, which is the name they were under from 2004 until 2007 when they renamed themselves Alestorm after being signed to Napalm records. The current members are - Christopher Bowes: lead vocals, keytar (2004 - present) Dani Evans: guitar, backing vocals (2008 - present) Gareth Murdock: bass guitar, backing vocals (2008 - present) Peter Alcorn: drums (2010 - present) This year they will be touring with Sabaton who are a swedish metal band who I've seen in Cambridge. Their Studio Albums: Captain Morgan's Revenge [2008], Napalm Records Black Sails at Midnight [2009], Napalm Records Their EPs: Battleheart [2006] Terror on the High Seas [2006] Leviathan [2008] I was wondering if anyone had heard of them, if so, what do you think of them? If not I'm just introducing them to you and I suggest if you like this kind of stuff you should check them out.  I hope to see them some day. |
