I found my sister’s bones locked away
Her body is beginning to decay

From the day I caught Daddy
Murdering her on the basement floor

He placed the knife atop the fridge
All these years later that’s where it still sits
Left there for me to follow in Daddy’s footsteps

For he used to tell me to stay calm
And everything, everything would be alright
But I wanted to be his flawless girl

So with my photographs of my bloody art
Just sitting silently on the table

It’s time for me to make my daddy happy
This time my life must imitate the art

So I leave my mother’s dismembered body upstairs
And my cousin’s bloody remains on the floor
They’ll make a beautiful photography work

I will make my daddy proud of me now
Before my boyfriend comes to find me

As the blade pierces my stomach
I take care of myself forever
It’s time for my turn now, I love you Daddy

Here's another one of my works:
Aguilar
It is watchful yet terrified
Symbolizing so much more
Than meets their eyes
You Linger in your country
With your crest held high
The horns of a bull
But you really belong in the sky
Moon and eagle unite
In an image of generations
Family is who you pray to
They are scared for your life
Hush listen to its spirit
Come down upon you

Wow... The first poem "I'm sorry daddy" was one of the darkest pieces I have read in awhile. Definitely not what I expected when I clicked on it. But I must say I did enjoy it. May I ask what it's about? Is it a metaphor for something? Or is it just supposed to be about murder?
