Need help

I know it's been a long time since I've been on, but I can play a LOT of songs, but I still can't play Good Riddance

any particular problems? maybe i can help you if i get some detail on what you can't get...

good riddance is easy once you know it. learn just the chords first, and play along with the song.

then try and play the intro bit, you will pick it up.

Well, I can play the part where he messes up and says "Fuck" and a teeny tiny bit of the beginning..I do want to play the song, it's just hard to learn all those movements and play them

for me i learned the song using finger picking first cuz it's easier to play with tempo. hold the chords down and pick the strings, that's all you need. G, C9, and D. then in the chorus theres an Em. so four chords, and same picking pattern cept on different chords.

lets see... i could improvise the bass line to a guitar, write out a tab, BUT, im too apathetic to get my guitar out from the dust its under
