I dunno if that is new news but whatever. |

They did alright on the Edge countdown too, but I can't remember the numbers ...
Mix 96 ain't Toronto - that's Mix 99.9 (aka little sister of Edge). I gave up on Edge awhile ago...actually gave up on radio...although at work I'll listen to some UK stations. I was an old school CFNY (Edge in the early days) fan/listener - then they got pathetic.
If you were around to listen to Humble & Fred in the mornings (they're not the same now as they were back then) back in the day - then you'd understand why Edge lost listeners when they hired that DUMBASS Dean.  |

My problem with Barrie Taylor is that...well Edge was supposed to be the station that played truely alternative music, bands no other radio station would touch, bands from all over the world, bands that I would only know because of Edge...and then he went and mis-pronounced the name of band that only Edge has ever played and he said with massive confusion - like he'd never heard of them. Educate the freakin' djs before put them on air.
At that point I gave up on them. Bookie is okay but very arrogant. |
