Age: - Gender: - Posts: 21 | August 21st, 2005 at 09:22pm Health and safety is taken far too seriously now and extremely over the top. Little things are now looked at to be so dangerous. Like in primary schools - kids aren't allowed to run too fast in the play ground in case they fall. Skipping ropes are being banned, and many old popular chideren's games too. It's stupid! |

IF THEY GET SICK, THEY CAN BECOME IMMUNE TO SOME THINGS!!!! stupid people being morons. |

 | August 22nd, 2005 at 10:01pm seeing as everyone sues everyone these days, i don't blame them. Schools can't afford to be sued.
If your annoyed at the safety precautions schools take, be pissed at money hungry parents who will do anything for a fast buck. |

That reminds me...
In chemistry a couple of months ago, we had to do some experiment that involved no safety hazards. I was working, my Chem teacher yelled to me "HEY. Put goggles on!" So I asked him why. He threw a wadded up piece of paper past my head. "There's stuff flying across the room!"
Funny stuff. He's so weird |

That's true.
It might be getting to the point of rediculous, but I don't blame schools for having all those rules. All this tuff reminds me of a case where a woman put her dog into the microwave to dry it and then sued the company for not putting a warning on the box that would say "If you put the dog into the microwave, the dog will die!". And she won.
So, yeah, you look at all these new rules and warnings and think "Do they really think we're THAT stupid?", but someone did water their TV, and people do lick glue to check if it's dry, you know. Companies and schools want to protect themselves. I don't blame them |
