A little band-related problem

BEWARE: LONG RANT

last summer, the former bassist from my band told me his brother's friend had a guitar amp that didn't work and he was getting rid of it. So i figured 'what the hell, I'll take it'. So, I get the amp and it actually works. So, fast forward a few months, I got a phone call from the kid I got the amp from. he said that he wanted "his amp" back. (note that when he gave it to me it was his bro's friend's, when he wants it fro himself it becomes "his". So, i tell him the truth. The amp needed fixed so I gave it to someone my dad works with to fix it. So fastforward another few months, school starts. For a while, him and his "band" come up to me and tell me they wnat "his amp" back. Again, I tell them the truth that I don't have it, and that the guy that was fixing it had a stroke (whihc is completely true), and they get mad at me. So, another few months pass, its november, and I get the amp back. (some other guy my dad worsk with fixed it). Now, no problems so far, but on friday, these guys started talking about the amp again and claimed that i was "trying to steal it". Well, obviously, if they don't have and beleive that I stole it (which i did), then am I really "trying" to steal it. Now, i don't really want the amp, but these gusy are total assholes, and they only want the amp back because the were originaly part of my band and quit. So, tell me, waht should I do? I don't want the amp, but I hate the fags who want it back, and, they'd probably be even more pissed at me if i gave it back.

on a side note, i'm going to fuck their bassist's ( the guy who gave me that amp) face in next time he brings it up. I hate that fucker.

I won't give it back to them. ever. Just because I think that it somehow makes my band better than them.

I'm thinking about getting another cable ( it has 2 inputs) and blowing it out with some gnarly feedback. But i don't have $30 to buy another cable so yeah.

You should just get one of those shitty cables that Guitar Center gives away all the time.

I got the cables they sell there (Livewire) are pretty good.

Yeah, Guitar Center always sends me these post cards and you bring it in and they give you a cheap cable or a set of drumsticks. I haven't even bought anything there in awhile and they keep sending them. They always give them away when they have a sale to.

sell the amp. since you don't wanna give it to them and you don't want it, sell it and they can't do much about it. and besides, it's so long ago, what are they gunna do, sue you for it? so yah, just sell it.

I would sell it, but see, these guys absoloutly love Guitar Center, and the only other place I could take it doesn't actually buy it from you, they put it in the store and if its bought, they give you money. I'm just gonna break it/ throw it away because it sucks anyway.
