Escape

You can play it as loud as you want in your ears
It starts to take over but no one can hear
And just come on forget, just forget all your fears
Coz this is the moment in which you escape

And this is the moment when you shut the door
And your mind’s in an audience that’s screaming for more
So you’ll lose yourself in it and lose grip on truth
Your life will stand still and erase decayed seconds and words

All of the monsters around you fade away
And fall to the ground with each chord they play
And every word sung pushes the pain
Out of the light and stored as the past

With music in your ears the tears dry
Wiped off with an electric lullaby

No one hears but all your fears are faded to the sound
As you escape again to the music in your ears
Another disc that spins you round to a place where you can scream and no one can hear
A place where you can dream and no one can interfere
Sometimes you just need to escape
