What's in a name? King For A Couple Of Days Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2451	May 4th, 2006 at 04:56pm Standby Put life on hold so that you may run from your fears. Pause it for a while, rest from its endless burden. Hide from problems you can never escape, Just freeze the moment and stay forever. Rewind it to the scene where you once were happy. Push the stop button on the remote to your anxiety. Play your favourite part over and over again, While time stands still inside your head. Never changing channel, not daring to press play. Always changing your mind, afraid of decisions. You can pretend that the world is on standby, But you can’t create reality out of your lies. Press repeat and relive those few blissful minutes. Refuse to watch the sequence where you failed. You think you are in total control of your life, When the sad truth is that you have lost it. Life goes by without you, the world keeps spinning. Time passes regardless of how exhausted you are. Even if everything seems to have stopped, The only thing set on standby is you.
