is Maddy, dearest of all
her hands pushed forwards
like a zombie reaching for
something it wishes for
her blank eyes
look into them deeply
you'll see the colour blue
her light blue eyes,
full of endless tears
she's carrying a bowl
chocolate is the filling
how sweet life can be
but once your angel has broken thy heart
its nothing but grim
she's walking into the diningroom
again images play tricks on her
seeing the corpse of her beloved one
she drops the glass bowl
and sparks of crystal light up the room
again she falls to her knees
in despair she can't think
her love slowly choking her
the pain which is unbareable
she could take no more, but is still there
gazeing blankly onto the carpet
we cannot see the blood
which she can even smell and feel
her sweethearts corpse still lieing there
as if his death were yesterday
she picks herself up
and her eyes could see so far
her mind could race
away from the cruel place
which she calls her home
the grim reality of life
that love leaves her
exactly when she starts
to enjoy the company of her lovers
who die again and again by her side
her tears are heavy
falling into the chocolate
which is now oozing into the carpet
the stains that she sees as blood
are painfully breaking her heart |
