warming the shadows around,
penetrating our bodies as we talk
about stories of memories of
happy moments, of pain, of caring
the force's source keeps us company
along with the cold night air
and then I realize that
you really are there

The motivation behind the poem is about people behind thier computer screens and how they actually have feelings and how the computers are really the tools they use to speak with.
The poem takes on the metaphor of sitting around a campfire. |
