is this just a dream or am i really here
is this pain im feeling just another form of love
why have you left me all alone when you promised
id never be the one you hurt
i sit and look at the photographs
and read over your words
is this just an obsession or
is this what they call love
i lye here slowly crying myself to sleep
i live through every second of the day
just to hear you speak
but your words never last and the moments over to quick
i live through every day
just trying to forget
every text, every email
all the silent phone calls
i was hurt and you weren’t there
i just lay drowning in my own tears
holding on so tightly to only part of you i have left
this must be an obsession it couldn’t possibly be love
if im so forgotten
and feel so alone..
how can you say im the one you love
how can you say everything’s just perfect
..pretty as a picture yet as broken as a mirror
i still wait here until the day
i hold your hand again
the tears still rolling down my face
waiting for you to wipe them away |
