Posts: 4161 | May 22nd, 2006 at 06:54am A release, more than anything. Perhaps one of the only poems I've ever written about myself. Feel free to tear apart my weakened heart.
Gothic angel of the oasis; an angel drowned in
leather... chocolate affections and distorted
metal craft a softer sweetheart than extrovert
counterparts.
It's all about the trust. Shaking hands, sharpened
kohl and subtle seduction - a soft comfort blanket
of emotions to wrap around weak gasps. Sometimes
words just collide against heavy rhythms; victims
of the scene soothed by apologetic medicines of
'can you breathe, can you breathe?'
Master of faeries, stroking spines and wings,
finding solace in quiet feelings. His valentines
are coated in bullets from all the times he's
bled - but you can't even see the stains over
the black fabric anymore.
He thinks the stains can be washed away by
alcohol and bed sheets... you can only refresh
and disinfect poisoned hearts with love and care. |
