I'm so sorry for not posting much...
Finals are like, next week, I have an SAT 2 in Bio that I'm going to crash and it's just been so hard...I've been waking up at 4 AM for some reason and I haven't been eating much =/ So I'm -really- sorry guys, I love you all and PLEASE bear with me. Enjoy!
Existence Itself Is Our Single Ailment
Shaky conclusions and delicate half truths
brush across her face, snowflakes of delinquency
taste oh so bitter.
The foggy clouds of cotton seem childish in our wake,
but yet the unmistakable signs of chaos teach us otherwise.
A warning, an omen, painstakingly striking when we least expect it.
They say the time flies by like lightning,
but maybe it’s humanity that’s rushing through the sands;
Never pausing to inhale the warmth,
the fuzzy memoirs and daydreams of the rushing waves,
the endless blue skies stretching across our horizons;
The feelings of elation that never ceased to entertain us,
the pounding adrenaline,
the lack of the negative aspects of
sanity we never desired.
But these elusive emotions have seemingly deteriorated,
buried beneath the borders that unleash the delusions,
the destruction and calamities of the diminishing minds.
The beauty of life, the understanding, comprehension,
the innocence we once embraced;
now lost eternally in our countless mistakes;
The obscurities we now pronounce as truth;
The conspiracies we pondered upon, and took in;
Acquired the wrong, the infestation of society.
And we
drown,
flail,
thrashing
against the flow;
We suffocate in our oxygen,
the mutated oblivion we once thought of as reality.
No, for this is not our reality,
our reality is a dimension where
tears are shed for attention, affection,
but affection is an infection.
Our virus in this life where a quarantine is unreliable. |
