Together Forever

I wrote this about my girlfriend and I, her mom has found out about us and just can't accept the fact that her daughter loves another girl and has forbid her from talking to me.

I can tell that something is wrong.
It’s the one thing that we have dreaded for so song.
There is silence on the phone as she pauses.
We turn silent and mourn our loses.
I know we’ll find a way.
We take it day by day.
We try one thing after another.
The only thing standing between us is her mother.
We must keep this our little secret.
I don’ understand why they can’t accept it.
We try and stay strong,
But it’s so hard when everyone says it’s wrong.
What are we supposed to do?
Leave each others sides just to please you?
We are going to stay together.
And we’re going to be like that forever.
