I’ve been quite happy for a while now. The result you see below.
Happiness is My Favourite Tune
My mind is adrift somewhere afar,
But right now it doesn’t matter since
All drowns in floods of energy from my heart.
Plain happiness
And childish joy.
What an experience.
Woven of tunes echoing in my head
Repeating words I never knew how to say
Along to un-rhythmical rhythms vibrating in my mind.
Sheer delight,
Glee without limits.
I moment to save and treasure.
Now I can see that the sky is truly blue,
Not some shade of obscure sickly grey.
Such I familiar sight and yet almost forgotten.
Put this song on repeat, I want to keep this moment.
Or just pause it for a while so I can enjoy this feeling.
The same notes don’t have to become boring
So I will play my favourite song one more time.
I will play for a while.
Life will be my instrument,
Love the tunes and happiness
It will be
My favourite song.

Awwwww, pretty and happy For once. You don't get much of that around here

I liked that stanza. The whole poem was great and it was simple. It wasn't overly elaborate, and with a subject like yours, that was a good thing. Good Job.

Thanks. It was supposed to be quite simple without getting boring or blunt.

My beautiful mind? I’ve been writing poetry since I was 8. That’s when I wrote my first and I just kept going really.
I improved very much when I turned 14 because before that it was still simple and sorta childish poems I think.
It was also around that time I started writing poems in English. (My native language is Swedish).
I get my inspiration from everything around me as well as from all I feel inside.
Also the music I listen to inspires me as does other poets’ creations.
Um, so to sum things up I actually don’t know.

I know. It should be more of them, they are much more enjoyable to write and to read than sad poems. Go happy poems!
