Sunshine girls never chose to hang
With girls born from rain drop-desire
Drew borderlines of bright reflections
Keeping their distance with darkened eyes
Praising their rules
Praising perfection
Give everything, dear, it's not enough to try
Boosting persuation to make you believe
Make you believe you're what you want to be
So I find myself lost in burrows of confusion
Amidst contagious phantasies
Cliff-hangers bound to bore right through you
If you ever dare to step out and fall
But what if he's nothing to me .. and
she's my everything?
I'm dangling dangerously over the abysmal oceans
That leave you to drown
Smothering in your own un-holy sins
Not even your thoughts truly belong to only you
Not even in the darkest hours of night
When there's only me and my shadow
Still my guilt and my conscience are crushing me
If I catch myself dreaming of
her .. dreaming of
us
Craving her lips in a kiss with passion
The scathing call of the oceans reaches my ears
Echoing in my mind endlessly with back-pressure
You're a fool to think you ever owned your dreams
I once heard someone falling into the oceans
He screamed as he fell, his eyes turning black
Those of human kind can never find
Happiness within their lives
And seeing myself here in perfection's picture
Him by my side instead of
her
I cannot help thinking he was right with his words
Society's claws drive their nails in so much deeper
Now that they're placed around your neck
Rain-drop girls always refused to hang
With girls born from the light of the sun
Drew borderlines of bright reflections
Keeping their distance with darkened eyes
Praising their rules
Praising perfection
What if it's fate, though, her image in my mind
Kismet giving its regards to converse beliefs
What if I'm losing myself in the rushes
Of anxiety overflowing my blood?
What if I'm haunted by my taunting insecurities?
What if I can't help the way I feel?
What if
she...?
What if she
doesn't...?
I know it's such a long poem....
Couldn't help it, I guess.
