Summer Dreams and Pumpkin Expectations

Hey, everyone. This is Jordyn on Eli's account. She asked me to post her poems while she was away at camp, so here's the first one she sent.

Eccstatic abherations of the fiery magenta twilight;
Where the slightest twitch of uncertainty is
distorted into an array of a thousand words,
a dwindling portrait of the silent rustling leaves,
a distant calling, a signal for all to listen;
to take elusive heed, to not only observe,
but to comprehend the sunset.
Those "daily" wonders that receded
to dusty photographs and deserted showcases,
the sort of antiques that are forgotten,
rather than preserved.
For those pumpkin enchantments
and charcoaled black holes
emit so much fantasy, yet receive no credit;
such an empty dark void, swirls of crimson
orange ashes glisten in the brilliance,
trees on fire but divinely breathing
through the night.
Elegantly standing alone through the
dusk, isolation so deceiving it seeps
through our veins unnoticed, infiltrating
what we knew;
Intoxicating our fragmented nightmares,
Piercing what we feared into a larger image,
The skulls of our deception crave for something more;
A window to the night, an excape route from
bleeding exodus.
