He gave up
Just like that
The Nights
And Horrible pain
What was it worth
If he was like a toy
Just shivering
Alone at night
Not a soul
Comforting Him
Through the tears
and the pain
Terror overpowered him
With the horrible inner pain
She felt his terror
As she looked into his blue eyes
She shivered like he did
She knew something was wrong
From the day they met
He was always scared
and always in pain
She figured it out
THe horrible abuse
Even though
It was the horrible truth
One Stormy night
She let out a hand
Led him out of the darkness
Telling him everything will be alright
Pulling him out of the deep water
With a strong grip
That pulled him down
And there
In the darkest night
She stood still
And held him tight
And for once in his life
He gained hope |
