Looking through the window pane of life, she smiles to herself.
The first smile in an excessive amount of time.
In her world she holds up a barrier, protecting herself from the evil around her.
But on her own she is one. She doesn’t have to pretend.
No-one has the right to judge her. No-one has the right to rip out her heart and soul.
As night becomes day, and her smile becomes a frown, the sun casts a shadow, outlining her attitude. No-one would have guessed her true self.
People believe she loves life. In fact things are the opposite. She hates everything, and everyone around her.
The strangers she smile to on a daily basis, she secretly wishes they would die. So she could be alone. In her world of self hatred.
People have got it all wrong. No-one knows her. They just think they do.
