My voice IS heard. I'm in a socialist organization, and here the other day, the leader of the organization were on TV because of the election in this country this year, and he was on a show with the leader of one of the political groups (I call that specific one a group) that is in one of the election... And what was he talking about? Well, he certainly mentioned some of the stuff I discussed with him and several others just a couple of weeks ago.... We MAKE our voices be heard.... Cool

I try my hardest to get my voice heard. Not that anybody wants to listen to me...at least I try. If I have an opinion, I'm not just gonna stand by and nod in fake agreement. I'm gonna debate god dammit! If you don't do it, nobody will. And when nobody does, nothing happens.

At my school I'm part of the PTSA. so I make my voice heard about what our school needs, especially since my school is new and only with around 100 students or less. We need that kind of thing.

here here,

our student council was sooo sad, me and this one girl were the only ones to do anything. its like kids are afraid to take the risk of standing up and making and taking that risk. they all just stood there and nodded to what the SC advisor, and its soo pissed me and caitlin off, and we both said, at the same, HELL NO! lket alone, our advisor got kinda mad, but we got the rest of the SC convinced.

I always voice my opnions. I'm pretty shy at first with people, but I'm still very opnionated, which some people don't realise at first...but they find out soon enough.

I'm a sissy, so I don't do that type of art. I come to the debating section of GSB (here) to talk about my issues with these matters. That's how my voice is heard, and through songs, peoms, writing, stories, things like that. I'd make a public speech but the city I live in is too stupid to have one of those. It's all farms and stupid hill-billies.

I know a lot of people on here tend to think that our government is corrupt, etc. i dont blame them, because it kinda is.j but the question im asking is if you think your voice is heard.

i know mine is, because i make the initiative to make it that way. ill make damned sure that i sign the right petitions, ill make damn sure that our school wont ban dances (they almost didNeutral). a lot of people ive talked to in hicktown here complain about how they dont get their voice heard, and i asked them if they've done anything about it... nope, nah, why the hell would i do that....

life rewards action...

so what do you think about your voice, or do you think it matters if you stand up for, local/state/nationally. i know mine is locally, through exp...

anyway, talk. lol

please.. our skool bans dances and then some.. and we cant do shit, with petitions and whatever.

I would speak my mind, but no one cares about a 13-year-old's voice these days. We're just young and rebellious and stupid.

It's foolish statments like that one that created that dumb stereotype in the first place.

my old school contradicted its own teaching with this one. they taught us that we have a right to express our opinions and that we should speak out against what we believe is wrong.

then, when they wanted to ban skirts, a bunch of girls drew up a petition and they got after school detention. one teacher was threatened with losing her job because she signed it. we are not listened to, just crushed underfoot coz we're supposedly too young to have opinions.
