A Requiem For Her

Whatever tomorrow brings,
I will never forget you.
No matter how horrible may be those things,
I will always love you.

It's just too bad you're six feet under,
And you never gave me the chance to say goodbye.
Your death stroke me like a thunder,
It left me so empty I wanted to die.

Up to this day I bear the scars you left,
When you decided to leave me to struggle on my own.
You stole a piece of me - I will never forgive you for that theft,
All you left behind was a big gaping hole.

And up to this day I miss you,
I can't even listen to our favorite song.
Why didn't you tell me how you felt - I felt it too!
You left me and you were planning to all along.

You left without a trace,
Because of an e-mail I got too late.
I wasn't given a chance to steal that one look of your face,
What a twist of fate, I was too late,

And yet I was just in time to see
You being carried away,
Covered with a white sheet- dead and blood-stained.
That image will never let me be.
Not even now, when I stan over your grave,
On the same frozen dirt in which your body once decayed.

I came just in time too see
The blood-sprinkled wall
And your brother, blinded with shock and pain.
The image of your closed eyes will never leave him be.
I should've known- You were never afraid of how low will you fall.
Just to let you know - You died in vain.
Every single thing in this world is still just as as disappointing, just the same.

Up to this day I wear scars on my wrists.
Because of you.
Because I got tired of making empty lists,
Empty lists with no reasons for me to stay in this world.
In the world without You.

I know it's not half as good as the rest, but this poem means the world to me.
