Best known for the early 90's novelty hit "Detachable Penis", It was really difficult for me to get into alot of King Missile's other material other than that song. I'd definately call them an acquired taste. I discovered these guys when I saw the "Detachable Penis" video on Beavis & Butt-head, and I had alot of high anticipation for them, so I bought "Happy Hour" from www.towerrecords.com, and when I got it, while there were a few good cuts, it just didn't meet my expectations. Their self-titled 1994 release didn't really do it for me either, but there were also some good tunes there. But today I got their 1991 album "The Way to Salvation", and I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

I love King Missile.
My favorite songs are 'Detachable Penis', 'Gay, Not Gay', and 'Sensitive Artist'
