Inner Self

I walk in the gates
I can feel the stares
Everyone looking, whispering
The worst of my nightmares

I hear the laughs and giggles
I know that there aimed at me
I hear the comments and the roumers
My image in them they see

I tell them to get lost
but they dont care
Why would they?
My hardened walls they tear

And so at night
the tears come
streaming down my face
And I feel numb

I wish it would stop
But wishes are a lie
So ill stop and hope
that they never see me cry
