There are nights,
When I sometimes wonder...
Between those long and slow beats of my heart....
Is there anyone out there?
Somewhere, someone who understands
What it's like to love and to be hated.
Someone who is just as torn apart
As I am.
There are nights,
When that one second lasts so long,
Longer than eternity...
And it makes me feel so...
Transparent.
Like I'm not even there -
Moon-beams shine
Right through me.
I'm like that one
Forgotten song.
There are days,
When my body bathes in the sun...
In laughter.
But,
I feel so cold,
Like the sun isn't really there.
Not for me...
That laughter sounds so...
Distant and...Fake.
And even if it makes me
Smile,
I'm the only one who knows...
What a pretty lie.
Sometimes,
In between my heartbeats,
I wonder...
Is there someone brave enough to love
Me.
Or stupid enough to care...
Fot that one girl,
(But she's so strange)
Who will love the deceased?
That one girl with a beautiful smile...
(But she never smiles)
That one girl with a loving heart...
(But she's filled with hate)
That one girl who knows no lies...
(And yet she is a lie)
Who will ever dare?
To take a look behind the fog,
To kiss away
Her scornful glare?
