Butterfly decorated china soaks into the sun
Shadows lurk behind and underneath;
The grass beneath my feet
The doctor tells you to sing your way to health
That the cure for your illness is B flat over C Major
The debris is the stars in my eyes
The needle and threads in my lips.
This metamorphosis,
The images burned unto the back of my eyelids
The tattoo on my third eye
Just as the tiger is blinded by the hunt,
I am blinded by this new found beauty
You say it is just my imagination,
But i can only imagine what you see
A collauge of grey's and eggshell creams
The sun rays just a touch dimmer
Magenta orange looks of pale green
A voice rings out into the darkness
And vibrates just softly in my ear
Masquerades and wanting eyes penetrate
The skin covering my bones, raises just slightly
An array of fireworks, colours binding to and fro
A metamorphosis into a butterfly. |
