 | August 24th, 2006 at 02:16pm Don't ask, don't tell.
Obnoxious slush, a pitiful pile of abnormality,
queerly shaped pieces of lily stems and bleach stew.
Gasping for air, a fresh fish, drowns in the Oxygen Lake.
Flipping, guttering, choking, drowning.
It emits an invisible squeal, screaming it's supper!
A golden piece of parchment, scraped again by those hideous
snake-ish words, writhing like inebriated worms into
untranslatable, confused word vomit, spewed forth by
bilious, cliché authors, scribers, illiterate fools.
And yet, I don't return with it, anguished seraphim,
don't my dog tags you attached tell enough?
A bleeping, whirring concoction, torture device,
strapped to my rather less than feminine leg. It tells
some godforsaken hell-bitch where I go, what I do.
Why, why, why? What action caused this nihilism?
Such a bidden censorship, censorship of self. Myself,
prisoner, again. Another sunrise, a new chastened rule.
Did I deserve my forced fast? Do I deserve my
sickening cell in Belsen? God? He ignores my pleas.
Forsaken, I leak sauerkraut tears, a mere chemical
spillage. My fault, toxicity trickles through tiny
pores. Poison, poison poison! Mother, Mother poison! |
