An Umbrella Might Have Worked
It’s just a walk on the beach,
And you can’t feel the sun.
For all the warmth in the world,
You’ve had me left with none.
And we ask, was it fair? Fate?
Or but a fool’s salvation?
I asked for an umbrella and you took away the rain.
I asked for an umbrella and you took away the rain.
Always overdoing it, never ever doing it.
Stop hiding all those clouds and please just take the blame.
Already all the light bulbs shattered,
And there was no shower of sparks.
So you can quit pretending that you ever had a hope. |

I can't believe it took me a whole month to finally write something. And I was listening to this calm instrumental music too, when I started to get angry for some reason and just wrote. o_O |
