Singing You To Sleep

When I had no hope,
I'd turn to many things.
But they can't come close to
the hope you've brought me.

And when I could not sleep,
I'd stay awake wishing.
But now I think of you and
those wishes turn to dreams.
Falling sleep with you in my mind,
It's beautiful. It makes me not
want to wake up in the best way.

When I was in pain,
I would inflict more in attempts to forget.

and the pain is just too much, then let go.
