Wind that grips past branches as if
Treason itself were on its tail
Tales of rabbits in the headlights
of careless foxes caught in the crossfire.
Embed, imprint a code unto my hand
Stars so bright they shine their image
Never pulling away from your eyes
But this city life i've grown accustomed to
Leaves ever a trail to fathom;
worn and used debris.
The grass is always greener
The water always looks mud from above
Refreshing is the falling of daisies
Unto the dying field, my subconscious
Once a blazing field of fire
Twirling lights and ringing resonance
'But everything will be alright
if we just keep this fire burning.'
Dizzyness ensues
Unto the beach
Out of the water
And into your reach
Desperate, perhaps
But who am i to preach?
Of sane and insanity,
life and it's cure. |
