Love Kills.

She played around with a cold, silver razor
Pushed it down and it stung like a lazer
Blood dripped down her cut up wrists
Biting her lip and clenching her fists

Over and over the week was the same
Love was the title of this silly old game
He was the reason for all of this pain
After him nothing was ever the same

She couldn't help but love him to death
She had forgotten about all of the rest
Those other boys who treated her good
A chance for them again never stood

It became a daily thing to threaten him
"I'm gonna do it!" She screamed again and again
Finally one night she stuck to her word
The next day from her, no one had heard

So he went to her place, just for a check
Make sure she was fine, a pulse near her neck
But what he did find made him realize
He'd no longer look in her eyes

He found her slaughtered, torn and cold
She was only eighteen years old.
Her future was gone, along with the hope
Of one day leaving to elope

He told her family what she had done
Tears from their eyes began to run
She was no longer Daddy's girl
Broken was her mother's world

So in the end he had this to say
Don't let pass a single day
That you haven't had your thrills
And to remember that love kills.
