Pushed onto the fast lane,
Crying beyond tears.
So slowly mislead into your hatred and disdain,
Now, I'm afraid beyond my fears.
From this point- anything I do will be in vain,
Glassy eyed. Lingering in between Life and Death.
Too far from salvation and beyond insane.
Hanging on to Hope with that one last breath.
Breaking away, but only in my dreams,
And driving faster and faster.
Biting my lips as everything in me screams,
Pushed onto the brink of my own disaster.
I'm paying the price
Of redeeming the unredeemed.
Trying to save my soul from this world of vice
Where nothing is what it once seemed.
Hit the brakes, turn the wheel!
Nothing works as another dead end nears.
Close my eyes, but I'll feel it- It's real,
That terrifying sight beyond my fears.
Nothing. Pure nothing. No sensation.
Only stench that veils my dead end.
I'm feeling Death beyond any emotion,
Touching my neck, taking my hand.
