What has happened to us?
Is this our destiny?
Sitting on the couch,
Watching the TV
The world could be better
Like it was in the "good ol' days"
When worrying was not nessacary
In any sort of way
Look at the world now
It's covered in dirt
The media and liars have ruled
All of this Earth
But still, we are sitting
Staring at that tube
Feeling sorry for ourselves
Our hearts have been sued
We know it in our minds
That this is not meant to be
This filthy place
Is not what we're meant to see
This poem is dedicated to everyone that is trying to save this world from utter destruction...those who are praying, those who are giving charity, all those who are making a difference. Thank you. |
